103-Year-Old Smile 1952 Oil by Rudolph Bylek, Silent Film Star turned Artist
$85.00 USD
Description
Here's something unusual. A painting of a 103-year-old Egyptian iron monger by a star of the silent films. The clipping on the back is from a Danish newspaper, and the translation is underneath, along with information about Bylek's films. The portrait is amazingly well painted and is so clean it looks like it was painted last week. I found this in an old suitcase up in my closet. I must have had it for years.
Unframed Oil on Masonite, 1952. Signed and dated lower right.
