1860s British School Oil on Board Painting "What's Elsie Worth?"
$600.00 USD
Description
This wonderful painting has been in my family for years. A country squire and a peasant are dickering over the price of the cow. Painted around 1860 in England. The frame is newer. It is painted on a mahogany panel which has a hairline crack in the bottom half. (See last two photos) It is barely visible from the front and, in my opinion does not affect the enjoyment of the work.
aprox. 20.5" x 16" Frame is about 30" x 26" FREE SHIPPING
