Description
This is one of the most exquisite little watercolors I have ever owned. I bought it twenty years ago in Montclair, NJ. It is titled on the back of the paper. I have tried to find where Linden Court is, but to no avail. If you like wonderful works of art, beautifully framed, and small enough to fit anywhere, you will love this tiny gem.
I have fond memories of Montclair. I once met Yogi Berra there at an antique show held by the Montclair Women's Club, to which his wife belonged. I had had several martinis and lost all inhibition. I walked right up to Yogi without introduction and told him my favorite baseball joke. He roared with laughter and called his wife over to meet me. You can't make this stuff up. Yogi was the best.
Watercolor on paper 5 3/4" x 5 1/4", framed under glass. Outside frame dimensions are 11 34" x 11 1/4".
