Description
This exotic portrait is signed, S. Grey, and is probably 19th C., but possibly 18h C. The lady's attire is definitely of the 1700s in France. Beautifully presented in a walnut cove frame with a stylized gold filet. The last photo shows the back which is covered in old French newspaper.
3 3/8" x 2 1/2" oil or gouache on paper, under glass in a 6 1/4" x 5 3/8" frame.
