Description
This wonderful frame from the Victorian era will enhance any portrait or landscape painting. Or fit with a mirror for an accent piece that is sure to get comments. The inner panel has been toned with a rich rust color. The rabbet is 22 1/2" x 27". This is because in the 19th century there were no standard sizes. If your artwork is smaller, your local framer can fit with a matte, liner or insert. Outside dimensions are 36" x 31", and the high relief ornament extends 3 1/2" from the wall.
Please note: The frames I sell are true antiques or vintage items in as-found estate condition. Nicks, repairs, oxidation, etc. are common and should be expected. Please examine photos carefully.
