Modelled after a sixteenth century Italian design, this frame will make a handsome embellishment for a portrait or other painting. Yes, it's an odd size, so you need to make the painting to fit. A smaller painting can be accommodated by having your local framer insert a liner. Or fit with a mirror for an attention-getting wall accessory. 36 1/2" x 29 1/2" rabbet.
